MAN Supervisory Board extends Dr. Georg Pachta-Reyhofen‘s contract by five years
The Supervisory Board of MAN SE today extended Dr. Georg Pachta-Reyhofen’s appointment as CEO by another five years to June 30, 2016.
The Supervisory Board thanks Dr. Pachta-Reyhofen for his hard work in the best interests of both the Company and its employees and urges him to continue his successful service.
Dr. Pachta-Reyhofen has been a member of the MAN SE Executive Board since July 1, 2006 and CEO of both MAN SE and MAN Nutzfahrzeuge AG since January 1, 2010.
After studying mechanical engineering and obtaining his doctorate from the Technical University of Vienna, Pachta-Reyhofen first became an employee of the MAN Group in 1986, when he joined the then ÖAF Gräf und Stift AG. As a board member of MAN Türkiye he was responsible for building up the coach plant in Ankara. He then became head of Engine Development at MAN Nutzfahrzeuge AG in Nuremberg. In 2001 Dr. Pachta-Reyhofen was appointed to the Executive Board of the MAN Nutzfahrzeuge Group as Director of Engineering&Purchasing. From 2006 until 2009 he was Chairman of the Executive Board of MAN Diesel SE.
