Vans for the fans – MAN presents the largest team line-up of all time in Berlin
Eleven MAN TGE-type transporters have Bayern stars‘ shirt numbers on their sides, with the players‘ portraits shown on the roofs, presenting the possible team line-up that Jupp Heynckes may send into action for his last game as team manager, on Saturday evening (kick-off 8.00 p.m.). Over a 20 meters' by 40 meters' area, the vans take up the team formation.
Sven Ulreich guards Bayern’s goal. Another source of security is the TGE, with its automatic emergency-brake assistant (EBA) as standard. Central defenders Mats Hummels and Niklas Süle will be hoping that they will not need this against Frankfurt. Joshua Kimmich and David Alaba are each consistently sticking to their outside lanes – just like the new TGE’s active Lane Keep System. Javi Martínez, James Rodríguez and Alcántara Thiago give stability to the midfield. At all times Thomas Müller and Franck Ribéry reliably lay on goal-scoring chances for Robert Lewandowski.
Hartmut Sander, Vice President Corporate Communications at MAN Truck & Bus AG, explains: 'The Cup Final in Berlin is always a really special occasion for the German football world. For us as MAN it provides the ideal platform for further building up our brand image with creative initiatives; at the same time we make our newest MAN family product known, the MAN TGE transporter.'
