Abacus Logistics Ltd based in Southampton, Hampshire, on the south coast of England, has recently taken delivery of their first New Generation MAN TGX tractor unit, the first New Generation MAN TGX to be handed over in the UK.

"We have a long and established relationship with MAN and this new flagship will join our existing fleet of 35 44 tonne vehicles."

Based just meters from the main entrance to Southampton Docks, the second-largest container port in the UK, Abacus Logistics' New MAN TGX will be joined by five other new MAN tractors delivering both imported containerised goods and palletised products across the UK and collecting customer consignments for export through the Hampshire port.

Peter continued, "As a family run business we all, across the entire team, pride ourselves in the relationships we have with our loyal customer base, an approach that we know is both appreciated and valued. Over the last few years MAN have clearly adopted the same approach and their customer first level of service, support and focus is clear to see.

"The local dealership in Southampton, Harwoods Truck and Van Centre, Totton, understands the requirements of our business, their link in our success and the need to keep our vehicles 100 percent turnkey ready at all times."
