Day Two at the CV Show
Following on from yesterday’s cracking start to the show for us, Day Two once again saw an action packed day, with visitors flocking to the MAN stand.
Today’s activities centered on sales. With the ink barely dry on a number of major deals, sales staff were in buoyant mood throughout the day. Figures in excess of 250 trucks are now in the order book and announcements on individual customers will made in due course.
MAN senior executives were in great demand from the press corps too, eager to learn more of MAN’s ambitions for the future. Execs from Nightfreight, J. Mould and others were also keen to share their experiences with journalists.
Total Cost of Ownership remains the continuing theme with many of those orders secured with tailored aftersales packages. Today, more than ever, customers are taking MAN trucks on a whole-life basis with MAN’s new Warranty3 and Fleet Management offerings having much appeal.
A final report will come after Day Three tomorrow.
